• Removable – these veneers are removable and are not permanent. Unlike the instant veneers, they are also customized to fit your teeth and to have correct alignment. They are also the newest in the family of veneers, and the most convenient because they are removable. They are the most inexpensive type of veneers but not the most durable. They are also the least ideal solution for teeth imperfections. 

What are the Pros or the Advantages of Veneers? 

There are many advantages you can have when you try veneers, and each type of veneer has its own advantages and disadvantages. For instance, porcelain veneers are the most durable and natural to look at, while the removable veneers are the least durable. However, dental veneers, in general provides you the confidence you need and want. They are ideal for correcting different teeth imperfections like cracks, chips, holes, and even discoloration. Veneers are also very durable and long-lasting as long as you give them the proper maintenance. Aside from this, they provide an extra layer of protection for your teeth. 

What are the Cons or Disadvantages of Veneers? 

Veneers are merely for beautification and do not provide the functionality to your teeth. Although they fix some teeth imperfections like holes, cracks and discoloration, veneers do not mimic the true coloration of your teeth when years will pass by. Also, your teeth can still decay even if they are under the veneer, which can potentially result in root canal and crowns. If you have a history of gum disease or other dental conditions like weak enamel, and others, it is not advised to wear veneers.
