The Silicon Valley Arts Coalition was formed in 2001 by small arts organizations recognized for providing high quality arts at affordable prices while maintaining fiscal responsibility. The Coalition’s objectives are to increase visibility and expand audiences, to promote the arts and educate audiences, and to encourage communication and cooperation among member groups.
In addition to events, exhibits and performances presented by the individual member organizations, the Silicon Valley Arts Coalition offers

· FETE THE PRESS, honoring members of the media who have been particularly helpful to SVAC.
· BI-MONTHLY BOARD MEETINGS, featuring informative presentations by local organizations and individuals who can offer services and expertise valuable to SVAC’s members. Local officials, members of local arts commissions, and other agencies’ representatives are also invited to attend either meetings or special events to foster useful relationships and benefit SVAC members.
